At the beginning of their meeting Tuesday morning, Brown County Judge, Dr. Paul Lilly, and County Commissioners took time to recognize James Masters, Brown County Veteran Service Officer.
He was recently awarded the Dan Garcia Achievement Award as the Veteran Service Officer of the Year for the State of Texas at the Veteran County Service Association of Texas annual Accreditation Training.
“It’s great to be honored by my peers. They’re the ones that do the voting. There are a lot of good qualified people in the state,” Masters told KOXE News at the meeting.
