A delivery van crashed into the Thai Chop Kitchen and left a gaping hole in the building at 420 North Main Street shortly before noon today (Monday).  The driver and lone occupant of the van did not suffer serious injury.  How the wreck happened was under investigation as of early afternoon.

The Brownwood Fire Department, Brownwood Police Department and Lifeguard EMS responded to the call.

There is no estimate in terms of the cost of the damages or how long it will take for the repairs to be made.
