Doug Prine, prominent artist, will be holding an oil/acrylic painting workshop, sponsored by the Coleman Museum at 400 W. College, Thursday, September 30th thru Saturday, October 2nd in Coleman, Texas.

Thursday afternoon at 4:00 pm Doug will have a demonstration of his approach to realistic art using a limited palette.  Afterwards will be a “Meet the Artist” reception with light refreshments.  Everyone is invited to come and watch the demonstration and visit with Doug. You do not have to attend the workshop to attend the demonstration and reception.

Doug is a nationally recognized artist with work in private and public collections across the country. He has been drawing and painting his entire life. He worked for a time as a commercial artist and combat artist during the Vietnam War.

Doug enjoys sharing his knowledge with all artist and his workshops are great for beginners to professionals.
