Guadalupe (Lupe) DeLeon passed away on August 4, 2021, at the age of 87.
Graveside services for Lupe were held at 10am Tuesday, August 10, 2021, at the Oakwood Cemetery. Holy Rosary was read 6pm on Monday, August 9, 2021, at the Comanche Funeral Home.
She was born on December 12, 1933, to Mary and Marcelino Flores in Ennis, Texas. She was united in marriage to Mike DeLeon, Sr. on June 1, 1948, and they were blessed with nine children. Lupe was devoted to her family. She worked hard all of her life, was kind and loving to all she met and would do anything she could to help others in need. Lupe was a member of Sacred Heart Catholic Church.
Lupe is survived by two sons: Mike DeLeon, Jr., of White Settlement and David DeLeon and wife Cynthia of Early; five daughters: Margaret Mata, Annabelle DeLeon, Martha Garcia and husband Julian, Mary Martinez and husband Cesar, all of Comanche, Angelita Gandara DeLeon of Moody; two brothers: Ebelio Flores of Mansfield and Raymond Flores and family of Galveston; one sister, Connie Clark of Fort Worth; twenty-six grandchildren, seventy-three great-grandchildren; and fifty-seven great-great-grandchildren. She was preceded in death by her husband, Miguel DeLeon, Sr.; two sons, Ruben DeLeon and Charles DeLeon; one granddaughter, Rene Mata; one son-in-law, Juan Mata; and her parents, Mary and Marcelino Flores.
