Chris Monk, age 24, passed away on Sunday, August 8, 2021, in Harker Heights, Texas.

He was born on December 3, 1996, in Brownwood, to Isaac Monk and Lori (Garcia). He worked as a transportation truck driver and he loved cars, hot rods, and motorcycling. Chris was a big brother to all his family and now it’s him and the open road.

He is survived by a son, Aiden Monk; father, Isaac Monk and Veronica of Killeen; mother, Lori Goodman and husband Sean; eight brothers, Sean Monk, Tristan Monk, Isaac Monk Jr., Noah Goodman, Dusty Walls, Justin Walls, Jason Mast, and Dakota Monk; four sisters, Emerith McGurk, Shelby Walls, Katelyn Monk, and Chelesa Key; grandparents, Arthur and Rosa Garcia; grandmother, Mary Haferkamp; aunt, Amy Garza;  two uncles, Arthur Garcia Jr. and Trey Monk; and ex-wfie, Kaitlin Loo and fiancé Zenona Cihak.

Family will receive friends at Comanche Funeral Home on Wednesday night, August 11, 2021 from 5:00 P.M. until 7:00 P.M.

Graveside Services will be at 10:00 A.M. Thursday, August 12, 2021, at Oakwood Cemetery in Comanche, Texas.  Comanche Funeral Home is in charge of arrangements.

If desired, in lieu of flowers memorials may be made to a charity of choice.
