Week ends with 39 active COVID cases after 37 positive results

The Brownwood/Brown County Health Department received 37 positive COVID-19 test results. Of the 37 positives, 23 were PCR, and 14 were antigen.  There is one currently hospitalized in Brown County for COVID-19. No new deaths have been reported.

COVID-19 VACCINATIONS:

Brown County currently reports:

  • People with at least one dose – 11,970 (119 additional)

  • People fully vaccinated – 11,008 (130 additional)

  • Percentage of people 12+ fully vaccinated – 36.39%

30,883 is the estimated number of Brown County residents eligible for vaccination.

COVID-19 VACCINE CLINIC FOR AGES 12+

 The Brownwood-Brown County Health Department will host a COVID-19 vaccination clinic for ages 12 years old and older on August 3rd, from 3 to 7 p.m. at the Depot Civic Center, 600 E. COVID-19 VACCINE APPOINTMENTS

 The Brownwood-Brown County Health Department is offering COVID-19 vaccinations to all adults age 18 years old or older. Vaccinations are available by appointment at the Health Department. Please call 325-646-0554 to schedule an appointment for a vaccine.
