Following an executive session during Monday’s meeting of the Bangs City Council, a formal complaint will be drafted by Bangs City Attorney Mark Bessent and signed by Bangs Mayor Rick Phelps and then presented to Bangs Police Chief Jorge Camarillo and his attorney John Lee Blagg, which was announced in open session.

The Bangs City Council meeting agenda stated in executive session there would be a discussion and/or action regarding discipline of the police chief up to and including termination, as well as the possible appointment of an interim police chief.
