There will be two opportunities to give blood this week in Brownwood.
The first is on Tuesday, July 6th. The second is on Thursday, July 8th.
Both blood drives will be held at Walmart and both drives Tuesday and Thursday start at 10 am and last until 3 pm.
There is a blood shortage at this time, especially O positive and O negative, but all blood types are needed.
Appointments are encouraged by calling Vitalant at 877-258-4825 or by downloading the Vitalant app or going to donors.vitalant.org.
There will also be a blood drive this coming Saturday, July 10, from 10 am to 3 pm, at Brookshire’s in Brownwood.
