On Saturday, July Jam attendees will be treated to an assortment of menu options thanks to the wide range of culinary opportunities provided by over 10 different food vendors. From soul food, to tacos, desserts, and even healthy shakes, July Jam is bringing the flavor to the historic Downtown Brownwood area. Look for these food trucks and vendors located throughout the festival: Down South Seafood, Erma Jean’s Place, Jay’s House of Soul Food, Event Foods of Texas, Lemongrass Asian Cuisine, the Cake Fairy, B’s Tacos, Chipster’s Grill, Boss Tacos, and Brownwood Nutrition.
The July Jam festival-style event on July 10th from 5 p.m. to midnight at Pat Coursey Park in historic downtown Brownwood will also pack a punch of entertainment with an assortment of musical performances. The entertainment schedule includes:
- 5-5:30 p.m. Shane Parker
- 6-7 p.m. Cold Tap
- 7:30-8:30 p.m. CHLSY
- 9-10:30 p.m. Sam Whiskey
At 11 p.m., a laser light show and DJ performance provided by DV Pro Audio and a performance by Impact Lagunero will end the evening.
Beyond the opportunity to enjoy vibrant live music, July Jam attendees can look forward to a variety of activities, including a children’s activity area. The “Dem Trill Boyz” riding group will host a motorcycle show. The Brownwood-Brown County Health Department Medical Reserve Corps will be offering a cooling station. Other nonprofit organizations like the ARK Domestic Violence and Sexual Assault Shelter, the Brown County Humane Society, and Keep Brownwood Beautiful will offer information and activities. Many of the vendors from the Artisan Market will also have their wares available for purchase during the July Jam.
Nearby, Stone’s Grove cocktail bar will feature live music in-house and offer drink specials tailored for the event. Stone’s Grove also plans to show the Conor McGregor vs. Dustin Poirier UFC fight. 10 Mile Productions will hold a homemade sangria contest as well as provide a range of Texas wines and brews to enjoy. Pioneer Tap House is holding a cornhole tournament along with live music during the evening. The Brownwood Art Association will be hosting an art show and open mic music performances in their newly renovated Art Center on Fisk Avenue in conjunction with the July Jam.
