Patrick Michael Ryan passed away peacefully in his home on June 22, 2021.

There will be a celebration of life on July 10, 2021 at 6 PM at 9211 FM 45 S, Brownwood.

Friends and family are invited to attend.  Services are entrusted to Heartland Funeral Home in Early.

Pat was born on March 21, 1949 to Daniel Paul and Ann Ward Ryan in Brownwood, TX.  He grew up in Blanket and graduated from Blanket High School in 1967.  His favorite past times were drag racing, fishing, being at the lake, and barbequing.  He was a member and past president of the Central Texas Drag Racing Association.  Most weekends you could find him burning wood in his cooker making ribs and brisket for family and friends.

Pat started work for his father as a teenager at Ryan Construction and worked there for 52 years.  For 30 years he ran the company along with his wife.  He was an active member of the ISEE, International Society of Explosive Engineers, since 1972.

Pat married Jeffre Allred Ryan in Blanket on May 22, 1971.  They recently marked their 50th Anniversary.  They had three children, Chris, Jennifer and Samantha.

He was preceded in death by his parents, Dan and Ann Ryan and his elder brother Dan Ryan.

He is survived by his wife Jeffre.  His son Chris and wife Missy Ryan of Early.  His daughters Jennifer Ryan of Stephenville and Samantha Ryan of Brownwood.  His 6 grandchildren Jake Ryan, Eli Ryan, Katie Ryan, Kade Ryan, Ellie Ryan, and Hope Ryan.  1 great granddaughter Riley Ryan.  Brother Ward Ryan and sister Ellen Wasuta-Ryan.
