Jeren Scott Morris was a man of faith who is now resting in the hands of his Savior. Jeren passed away on June 21, 2021, at the age of 20, due to a work-related accident.
Jeren was born in Brownwood, TX on November 21, 2000 to John Scott Morris and Joy Morris at 1:33 am. He graduated from Early High School and obtained his Welding Degree at Ranger College in 2019. Jeren shared his life with his wife Jordyn Mayes Lewis Morris and their 3 fur babies Mingus, Maybel and Mavrick Morris. He adored everything about Jordyn and the beautiful life they were building. Jeren stood strong in his morals. He worked hard to take care of everyone that he loved because that’s what he loved to do. He enjoyed his extra time hanging out and hunting with his dad and brother.
Jeren was the most lovable, smart-ass, condescending, quick-witted Jerbear you ever met. He loved his guns, knives, trucks, Trump and everything country. If there was anything you learned knowing him, it was to help people. He would give the shirt off his back to a complete stranger. Jeren was just getting started in life and had already accomplished so much. He had big plans and had the most amazing future in front of him.
Jeren is now in Heaven with his cousin, Braden Summers, Nanny Carla Foreman, his Great Grandparents Edward & Margaret Pfingsten along with numerous other loved ones.
Jeren is survived by his wife Jordyn Morris, his father, John Scott and his wife Donna Morris & mother, Joy Morris, his grandparents, Robbie Eaton & wife Donna Pfingsten Eaton, and Robert and wife Margaret Morris, his brother, Abe & wife Morgan Morris and nephew Wyatt Morris, brother, Dylan Bundick; sisters, Caley Bundick, Candice Bundick and fiancé, Andres Diaz; along with a big family that loved him very much.
A visitation will be held from 6-8 p.m. on Friday, June 25th at the Heartland Funeral Home in Early. Graveside services will be at 10:00 a.m. Saturday, June 26th at the Zephyr Cemetery, under the direction of Heartland Funeral Home.
