Chester “Chet” Harl Deaver, age 81, rode into the sunset on Monday, June 21, 202, from Brownwood, TX. He was born on June 20, 1940, in Brownwood to Chester Clay “Cack” and Ruby (Teague) Deaver.

          He was a 1958 graduate of Brownwood High School. Chet made many miles over several years as a truck driver; he really loved those big rigs.

Chet loved being a cowboy and everything western. He was also proud of his Cherokee heritage. He loved to travel, go camping, and do wood working.

He is survived by his wife of 51 years, Dianne Deaver; 2 sons, Chet Jr. and Carl; daughter, Kathie; 8 grandchildren; 3 great-grandchildren; and his sister, Glenda Richardson. He is also survived by several nieces, nephews, and other relatives.

Funeral Services for Chet will be held at 10:00 a.m. Friday, June 25, 2021, at Blaylock Funeral Home Chapel with Carr Parish officiating; interment will follow at the Winchell Cemetery.

Visitation will be held Thursday evening from 6 to 8 p.m. at Blaylock Funeral Home.
