The Brown County Sheriff’s Department responded to the following calls for service June 16th.

• On Wednesday, June 16 at around 4:03 p.m. Deputy Carlyle James Gover arrived at Comanche Drive. This was in reference to a domestic disturbance regarding a mother and daughter. After further investigation, an individual was arrested for Assault Causing Bodily Injury Family Violence.
• On Wednesday, June 16 at 7:45 p.m. Corporal Jayson Bastardo was dispatched to CR 232 in Brownwood. This was in regards to a welfare check. The caller advised he had received a phone call from his daughter, who informed him she had been assaulted. Information was gathered a report was taken.
• On Wednesday, June 16 Deputy Joe Thomas was dispatched to a report of a Domestic. The complainant advised she had been in an argument with her boyfriend, and it became physical. A report was made.
• On Wednesday, June 16 at 10:43 p.m. Corporal Jayson Bastardo, was dispatched to FM 583 W in May. This was in regards to a domestic disturbance. While in route dispatch advised the caller admitted to assaulting her common law husband. Upon arrival, Corporal Jayson Bastardo spoke with all individuals involved. After further investigation, an individual was taken into custody for Assault by Contact Family Violence and was transported to the Brown County Jail and released to staff. A report was taken.
