The National Weather Service has issued a Heat Advisory from today (Wed) at 1 o’clock through Thursday night at 8:00 pm for a portion of the KOXE listening area.  It includes Coleman, Callahan, Concho and Taylor Counties.

The Heat Advisory means hot temperatures and high humidity will combine to cause heat illnesses to occur.

It is recommended you drink plenty of fluids, stay in an air-conditioned room, stay out of the sun and check up on relatives and neighbors.

When possible, reschedule strenuous activities to early morning or evening and never, ever, leave children or pets alone in enclosed vehicles, not even for a few minutes.
