Wayne “Crash” Manchester, age 42 of Brownwood passed from this life on Sunday, May 30, 2021.

A Memorial Service for Wayne will be held at 2:00 p.m. Friday, June 4, 2021, at Blaylock Funeral Home Chapel with Todd King officiating; private interment will be held at a later.

Wayne was born on July 19, 1978, to Gary Lee Manchester and Darla Jean River in Grand Junction, Colorado. He was an avid artist; he enjoyed painting rocks and drawing. Wayne was a loving father.

Wayne is survived by his wife, Rebecca Manchester of Brownwood; 5 children, Caralee, Catelyn, Grace, Aryana, and Sidny; mother, Darla River of CO; father, Gary Manchester of CO; sister, Brandi Goddard of Whitney, TX; brother, Damian Manchester of Brownwood; and maternal grandfather, Wade River of CO. He is also survived by nieces, nephews, several other relatives, and numerous friends.

He was preceded in death by an aunt; maternal grandmother; and paternal grandparents.

In lieu of flowers memorial contributions can be made to his children’s college funds.
