Four Sentenced in District Court

According to District Attorney Micheal Murray, a felony case was recently heard in Mills County District Court, Judge Mike Smith, presiding.

Joshua Auvenshine, on probation for the felony offense of Possession of a Controlled Substance-Drug Free Zone was adjudicated and sentenced to Three (3) years, Texas Department of Criminal Justice, Institutional Division.

The following cases were heard in Brown/Mills County District Court, Judge Mike Smith presiding.

Gustavo Rodriogo Buitron, on probation for the felony offense of Injury to an Elderly Individual was revoked and sentenced to Ten (10) years, Texas Department of Criminal Justice, Institutional Division.

Christine Quigley pled guilty to the felony offense of Tampering with or Fabricating Physical Evidence was sentenced to Four (4) years, Texas Department of Criminal Justice, Institutional Division. Further, Quigley, pled guilty to the state jail felony offense of Possession of a Controlled Substance and was sentenced to Twelve (12) months, Texas Department of Criminal Justice, State Jail Division.

Caitlin Thomas, on probation for the state jail felony offense of Possession of a Controlled Substance was revoked and sentenced to Eighteen (18) Months, Texas Department of Criminal Justice, State Jail Division.
