The Iowa Park Hawks hold a series lead thanks to a two-hit shutout pitched by Chance Helton on Friday night in Weatherford.  Iowa Park defeated Brownwood 8-0 in the best of three bi-district championship.  Hunter Day went the distance on the mound for the Lions, yielding seven earned runs on nine hits with four strikeouts and five walks.

The two teams square off again at 4:00 pm today (Saturday) once again at Weatherford High School.  Game three, if needed, will follow game two.
