Hords Creek Cowboy Church, Highway 153 west of Coleman near the Hords Creek Lake entrance, will welcome Coffey Anderson to their Arena Play Day and Fundraiser Saturday, May 15.

The Play Day will feature calf scramble, sack races, goat dressing and catch-the-calf. Barrels, poles and goat slap are also planned. Books open at 9:00 am. The play day starts at 10:00 am. Entry fee is $5 per event or 5 events for $20. Age groups under 6, 7-9, 10-12, 14-16, 16-18 and 18 and over.

There will be family games and activities all day.

Country Music entertainer Coffey Anderson will be in concert starting at 6:30 pm. Tickets to the concert are $25 for those 6 and older. Gates open at 5:00 pm. Coffey grew up in Bangs, Texas.  After record labels felt like Coffey wasn’t ready to be signed, Coffey created YouTube.com/CoffeySouthernMan and started his OWN career. Coffey had a video go viral and he got a reality show out of it. The video had over 60 MILLION views and the show was bought by Netflix.
