Funeral services for Peggy Goodgion Wright, age 61, of May, will be held at 10:00 AM, Wednesday, April 28, 2021, in the chapel of Heartland Funeral and Cremation Service in Early.  Burial will follow in Eastlawn Memorial Park.

The family will receive friends at the funeral home on Tuesday evening from 6:00 until 8:00.

Mrs. Wright passed from this life on Monday, April 26, 2021, at her home.

Peggy Lynn Goodgion was born on November 27, 1959 in Mineral Wells to Billy Wayne and Audrey (Peterson) Goodgion.  Peggy worked for Kohler Company for 14 years.  She married Robert J. Wright on November 18, 1989 at Southside Church in Brownwood.  Peggy enjoyed crafting, baking and helping others.

Peggy is survived by her husband, Robert Wright of Rising Star and a daughter, Laci Lynn Wright, both of May; a sister, Keri Thomas, two brothers, Mike Goodgion and Gary Goodgion, and her step-mother, Mary Goodgion.

Peggy was preceded in death by her parents, Billy Wayne and Audrey Goodgion.
