Early Lady Horn Grecia Yebra is headed to the UIL Class 3A Track and Field State Championships May 6-8 in Austin after capturing the Region I-3A title in the girls 200 meters Saturday in Abilene.

Yebra was clocked at 25.39 in the finals after posting the third-best time of 26.03 in Friday’s preliminaries. Yebra held off fellow state qualifier and runner-up Makki Hart of Shallowater (25.67), who posted the fastest time in the preliminaries.
