Weekly Update:
The Brownwood/Brown County Health Department received 15 positive COVID-19 test results. Of the 15 positives, 6 were PCR, and 9 were antigen. There are currently five hospitalized in Brown County for COVID-19. No deaths have been reported this week.
COVID-19 Vaccinations:
- People with at least one dose – 9,755
- People fully vaccinated – 8,236
- Percentage of people 16+ fully vaccinated – 26.67%
30,883 is the estimated number of Brown County residents eligible for vaccination.
COVID-19 VACCINE APPOINTMENTS
The Brownwood-Brown County Health Department has opened eligibility for COVID-19 vaccinations to all adults age 18 years old or older.
