Blood Drive in Honor of Gerald McKee Retired Teacher from Richland Springs ISD

A blood drive in honor of Gerald McKee will be held on Friday, April 23rd.  Gerald is a former teacher at Richland Springs ISD and is undergoing treatment at MD Anderson.

The blood drive will be at the Richland Springs Community Center located at 300 Carter on Friday, April 23rd from 3 pm – 7 pm. 

Appointments are strongly encouraged.  Call Linda Evans at 817-938-0523.  Or you can donate at any blood drive in Brownwood, just tell Vitalant staff that you are donating in honor of Gerald McKee.

For those unable to donate but who would like to help, the family of Gerald McKee suggest a monetary donation to Vitalant.  Please make checks payable to Vitalant and in the FOR area of the check, write “In support of Gerald McKee”.  Your check can be dropped off during the blood drive or can be mailed to:

Blood donors only need to be at least 16 years old, weigh a minimum of 110 pounds and be healthy.  16 – 22 year old donors will need to meet additional height and weight requirements. 16 year old donors must present a minor donor permit signed by a parent or guardian – go to www.vitalant.org to find the form.
