Domingo Rodriguez, Sr., age 85, of Cuero, Texas, died Wednesday, April 7, 2021 at the Cuero Nursing and Rehabilitation Center.

Recital of the Holy Rosary will be at 10:30 a.m. followed by Mass of Christian Burial at 11:00 a.m. Friday, April 9, 2021 at the Sacred Heart Catholic Church, 303 East College Avenue, in Coleman with Father Laurent Mvondo officiating.  Interment will follow in the Coleman City Cemetery.  Services are entrusted to Stevens Funeral Home, 400 W. Pecan Street, in Coleman.

He was born Domingo Sanchez Rodriguez on May 12, 1935 in Beeville, Texas to Jose Rodriguez and Rosa Sanchez Rodriguez.  Domingo was a hard-working man where he worked in construction and farming.  He loved to go hunting, fishing, and working outdoors.  He was a member of the Catholic church.

He is survived by his children, Domingo Rodriguez, Jr. of Abilene, Angel Rodriguez of Harriet, and Mary Ella Rodriguez of Anson; and two grandchildren, Christian Rodriguez and Joe Angel Slack.
