BROWN COUNTY – Beginning on or about Monday, March 15, 2021, Texas Department of Transportation (TxDOT) will close a portion of County Road 201 for replacement of a bridge over Clear Creek, just north of Brookesmith.  The limits of this closure will be from County Road 200 to County Road 202.

Motorists are encouraged to use the detour route of County Road 200 to FM 1176 to County Road 202 to return to County Road 201.

Construction is expected to last approximately 4 months.  TxDOT appreciates the patience of the public as this work is completed.
