The Howard Payne Lady Jackets held on to second place in the American Southwest Conference West Division with a 65-55 victory at Concordia Thursday night, completing a season sweep.

The Lady Jackets (9-6, 5-3) wrap up the regular season at Mary Hardin-Baylor (11-7, 7-6) – a 69-63 winner over Sul Ross (8-13, 6-5) Thursday night – at 1 p.m. Saturday.

All three of the aforementioned teams are still in the hunt for the No. 2 seed and the right to host a first-round game in the revamped ASC Championship Tournament. HPU would clinch the No. 2 seed with a win, Sul Ross would be No. 2 with a win and an HPU loss, and UMHB would be No. 2 with a win and a Sul Ross loss at Concordia (2-7, 2-7).
