Ryan Anthony Wooten, age 36, beloved son and brother, died Tuesday, March 2, 2021 after suffering health problems for the past eleven years. Ryan’s request was that his body be cremated and his family is honoring that request and they will have a private family Celebration of Life for him at a later date. Arrangements were made by Stevens Funeral Home.

He grew up in Sterling City, later moving with his mother to Gainesville, where he graduated from high school. Ryan was a mechanic and worked at his dad’s mechanic shop in San Angelo for several years. He enjoyed working on cars until his health problems prevented him from doing so. He also learned to play darts from his dad and competed in several darts tournaments. He moved to Coleman in 2012.
He is survived by his mother and step-father, Patt and Ben Stell of Coleman; half-brother, Carl McKenzie of Coleman; brother, Lonnie Wooten, Sr. of San Angelo; sister, Lisa Wooten O’Neal and husband Chris of Abilene; numerous nieces, nephews and cousins.
He was preceded in death by his father, Larry Wooten, on August 15, 2019.
