The Brown County Sheriff’s Department responded to the following calls for service between Sunday, February 28 and Tuesday, March 2nd. Calls range from disorderly conduct to assault and others.
On Sunday, Feb. 28 at 1:07 p.m., Deputy Carlyle James Gover arrived at E US 377. This was in reference to parts of a trailer being in the roadway by an unknown person. Another caller advised the rest of the trailer was parked on the side of the road on County Road 358. After further investigation, a report was made.
On Monday, March 1 deputies were dispatched to an address on CR 546. This was in regard to a subject trespassing. The subject was located on scene and the deputies were notified the subject had been evicted. Deputies issued a criminal trespass warning, and a report was made.
On Monday, March 1, deputies were dispatched to an address on Belfast. This was in regard to a disorderly conduct. The caller stated a man near him had a knife. Deputies arrived on scene and located both subjects, who had been drinking. It was determined no assault had taken place, and the subjects were separated. A report has been made.
On Tuesday, March 2, deputies responded to a report of a female subject needing an ambulance, due to an assault on County Road 422. Deputies arrived on scene, but the subject would not give any information as to what happened. The subject was transported to the hospital. A report has been made.
On Tuesday, March 2, at about 9:42 a.m., Deputy Byron Langley, arrived at 586 N in Brownwood. This was in regard to a theft. Langley spoke to a victim who stated someone had taken items from him while moving.
On Tuesday, March 2 at approximately 12:36 p.m., Deputy Scotty Burke met with a complainant. This was in reference to a found property report and investigation.
On Tuesday, March 2 at 3:14 p.m., Deputy Carlyle James Gover talked to an adult individual, who was reported missing out of Lubbock. After speaking to the individual, he was determined to be safe. Lubbock PD was notified and a report was made.
