Gurland Jackson “Jack” Jordan, Jr., 59, passed away on Friday February 19, 2021.

Funeral Services will be held at Brownwood Funeral Home February 26, 2021 at 1 pm. Visitation will be 11 am – 1 pm prior to Funeral Service.

He is survived by his wife, Laura, his children Kayla and Tyler Jordan, and stepdaughter Shana Cole, as well as his father Gurland Jordan, sister, Marie Youngblood and brothers Matt and Michael Jordan.

Born in Moultrie, Georgia, Jack moved to Texas in 2004 to start a new life with Laura, opening a gunsmithing shop in Kaufman, Texas, then on to Kempner and finally to their forever home in May, Texas. He enjoyed building. Adding a room or building a deck, or even building a chicken coop that would keep out a mountain lion so his wife would not be afraid for her chickens, and he enjoyed the projects even more when his kids were there to work beside him. He was so proud of them!

Whether tinkering and cussing at the guns in his shop or fishing and cussing at whatever kept glancing off his hook, he enjoyed life. He was a good man, a quiet Christian (cussing notwithstanding) and he was oh so dearly loved.
