It’s school on the normal schedule again Monday, February 22.  The BISD released the following statement Friday afternoon.

After inspections by our maintenance and administrative teams, we are pleased to announce that Brownwood ISD plans to reopen on Monday, February 22, at the regular time for all campuses and buildings except Head Start (next to Northwest Elementary). Head Start staff will receive information from Ms. Gardner on where to report to work on Monday.

There are some classrooms and areas within the district which sustained damage. Our crews have been working tirelessly, and some will continue to work through the weekend to have our buildings ready. The Head Start building next to Northwest suffered more severe damage and will reopen at a later date for students.
