As of 5:00 am Wednesday morning, all phone lines in and out of the Brown County Law Enforcement Center were down. This includes 911 and regular landlines. The social media statement said “We are working diligently to try and fix the issue to restore service. We appreciate your patience in this matter.”

An update was issued at 6:00 am:  The issue with 911 and landlines is due to a tandem in San Angelo that is without power. The statement says “We are at the mercy of AEP to restore power to it. We will monitor this page, please message us here if you need assistance.
