On January 28, 2021, the Brownwood/Brown County Health Department received 35 positive COVID-19 test results, 114 negative, and 28 recoveries. Of the 35 positives, 15 were PCR, and 20 were antigen. There are currently 15 hospitalized in Brown County and 423 active cases. Two deaths were reported: two males in their 80’s, neither were a resident of a nursing facility.

COVID-19 Vaccinations:
Brown County currently shows 1,101 people vaccinated with 1st doses, 500 people vaccinated with both doses.  31,586 is the estimated for vaccination.

Upcoming Free Mobile COVID-19 Test Dates: 
Texas Division of Emergency Management (TDEM) COVID-19 mobile testing team will continue January 25th-29th in Brownwood from 10 am to 4 pm at Gordon Wood Stadium located at 3206 Milam Drive.
