Daily Update:
On January 15, 2021, the Brownwood/Brown County Health Department received 31 positive COVID-19 test results, 91 negative, 53 recoveries, and 1 death. Of the 31 positives, 20 were PCR, and 11 were antigen. There are currently 26 hospitalized in Brown County. The death reported was a male in his 50s from a nursing home.

COVID-19 Vaccinations:
Brown County currently shows 835 people vaccinated with 1st doses , 25 people vaccinated with both doses.  31,586 is the estimated for vaccination.

Weekly Case Count Update:

Brown County ended the week (1/15/2021) with an addition of 263 new cases from the previous week.

Upcoming Free Mobile COVID-19 Test Dates: 

Texas Division of Emergency Management (TDEM) COVID-19 mobile testing team will continue January 18th-22nd in Brownwood from 10 am to 4 pm at Gordon Wood Stadium located at 3206 Milam Drive.
