On Tuesday, January 5, 2020, the Brownwood/Brown County Health Department received 90 positive COVID-19 test results, 89 negatives, and 29 recoveries.

Of the 90 positives, 42 were PCR, and 28 were antigen.

There are currently 21 hospitalized in Brown County.

The total number of active cases is 588.
