There are 182 employees at the Thomas R. Havins Unit in Brownwood.  Wednesday morning, the employees delivered two trailers filled with bicycles, scooters and skateboards to the KOXE/KBWD studios.

“For the past 15 years, the unit has been coming together to bring toys for children.  This year, they tried to outdo themselves.  Last year they donated 43 bikes.  This year they did  66 bikes, 21 scooters and 5 skateboards for a total of 92 items.  This is all from the employees of the Thomas Havins Unit, just coming together, being a family and caring about people,” said Warden Angela Chevalier.
