Josephine Sanchez, age 98, of Brownwood, passed away Tuesday, December 8, 2020.

A graveside funeral service will be held in the Zephyr Cemetery at 11:00 AM on Monday, December 14, 2020.

Josephine Sanchez was born on January 8, 1922 in San Angelo.  She married Joe Sanchez on January 26, 1938 and they were married for 69 years.  Josephine and Joe moved to Zephyr in 1953 and spent the next 54 years together until his death in 2007.  She loved her family and was loved by all who knew her.  She will be greatly missed.

Josephine leaves behind her son, Joe Richard Sanchez and wife, Isabell of Zephyr; grandchildren, Jennifer Whittington and husband, Cody, Angie Sanchez and husband Larry, Holly Webb and husband, Stephen; great grandchildren, Alex Whittington and wife Emelyn, Ariel Sanchez, Aidan Kilgore, Anson Kilgore; great great-grandson, Miles Whittington.

Josephine was preceded in death by her husband, Jose Sanchez.
