Kenneth Ray Lowrey, 81, passed away on Sunday, December 6, 2020.
A memorial service will be held at a later date.
He was born November 26, 1939, in San Antonio, Texas. He was the only son of Jimmy Lee and Doris Lowrey. He was a graduate of Santa Anna High School. He was married to Patsy Laverne Watson on May 10, 1961.
Kenneth served six years in the United States Army and lived the majority of his life in Brown County where he was a truck driver for several local business. He was a long-time member of Faith Baptist Church, Brownwood where he accepted Jesus Christ as his Lord and Savior. He later became a member of Victory Baptist Church, Brownwood.
Kenneth is survived by his daughter Angie Monroe and husband Dewayne of Valera; son Kenneth Lowrey, Jr. and wife Maria of Ballinger; son Michael Lowrey and wife Tammy of Brownwood, and daughter Debra Lowrey of San Angelo; grandchildren, Brandi Slate, Candace Moseley, Wade Lowrey, Wesley Lowrey, Kristopher Lowrey, Matthew Lowrey, and Kory Lowrey; and 8 greatgrandchildren.
Kenneth was preceded in death by the mother of his children, Patsy, a grandson, Jason Steffey, and his parents.
