Jeremy Balderrama with the Development Services Department has received the 2020 City of Brownwood Core Value “Rookie” Award for outstanding performance, eagerness to assist the public, and exhibiting the “I SERVE” Core Values.

The Rookie Award is given to a City staff member who has worked for the City less than two years, and has exceeded expectations. The City of Brownwood Core Values are represented by “I S.E.R.V.E.” standing for Integrity, Service, Excellence, Respect, Vision, and Empathy.
