District Attorney, Micheal Murray says felony cases were recently heard in Brown/Mills County District Court, Judge Stephen Ellis, presiding.
Reynaldo Mendoza, pled guilty to the felony offense of Robbery and was sentenced to Thirteen (13) years, Texas Department of Criminal Justice, Institutional Division; and Mendoza pled guilty to two separate felony offenses of Burglary of a Habitation and was sentenced to Ten (10) years, Texas Department of Criminal Justice, Institutional Division in each case. Further, Mendoza, pled guilty to the state jail felony offense of Theft of Firearm and was sentenced to Fourteen (14) months, Texas Department of Criminal Justice, State Jail Division.
Nathan Ray Prosise, pled guilty to the felony offense of Possession of a Controlled Substance with Intent to Deliver-Drug Free Zone and was sentenced to Ten (10) years, Texas Department of Criminal Justice, Institutional Division. Further, Prosise, pled guilty to the felony offense of Possession of a Controlled Substance and was sentenced to Seven (7) years, Texas Department of Criminal Justice, Institutional Division.
Lonnie Dwayne Smith, pled guilty to the felony offenses of Driving While Intoxicated, Credit Card or Debit Card Abuse, and Exploitation of the Elderly and was sentenced to Six (6) years, Texas Department of Criminal Justice, Institutional Division. Further, Smith, on probation for the felony offense of Aggravated Assault was revoked and sentenced to Six (6) years, Texas Department of Criminal Justice, Institutional Division.
Patrick Anthony Lee, on probation for the felony offense of Possession of a Controlled Substance was revoked and sentenced to Three (3) years, Texas Department of Criminal Justice, Institutional Division.
