Returning to postseason play for the first time since 2008, the fourth seed Early Longhorns will face the District 4 champion Brock Eagles – ranked No. 1 in the state in most polls – in Region I-3A Division I bi-district action at 7 p.m. Thursday at Tarleton Memorial Stadium in Stephenville.

Thursday’s winner will face either District 1 runner-up Denver City (6-4) or District 2 third seed Littlefield (3-6) in the second round of the playoffs.
