The driver of a Ford Explorer Sport Trac was taken by Lifeguard EMS ambulance to Hendrick Medical Center-Brownwood following a two-vehicle collision at the intersection of Austin and Coggin Avenues shortly before 11 a.m. Monday.

According to an official on the scene, the Ford Explorer Sport Trac was travelling east on Coggin Avenue, turning north onto Austin Avenue when a collision occurred with a gold Chevrolet sedan travelling south on Austin Avenue.

The force of the collision flipped over the Sport Trac, while the Chevrolet sedan sustained significant damage as well. No major injuries were reported from passengers in the sedan.
