On Friday, October 23, 2020, the Brownwood/Brown County Health Department received 9 positive COVID-19 test results, 34  negatives, and 6 recoveries. Of the 9 positives, 4 were PCR, and 5 were antigen. There are currently two hospitalized in Brown County and 85 active cases.
