On October 12, 2020, the Brownwood/Brown County Health Department received 9  positive COVID-19 test results, 49 negatives, and 13 recoveries. Of the 9 positives, 5 were PCR, and 4 were antigen. There are three currently hospitalized in Brown County and 68 active cases.
