Ray Anthony, 63, of Rochelle, Texas passed away on Monday, October 5, 2020 at his residence in Rochelle.

A graveside service will be held Tuesday, October 13, at 1:00 pm, at Texas State Veterans Cemetery in Abilene with full military honors.  Reverend Morris Johnson will officiate.  Leatherwood Memorial Chapels is in charge of arrangements.

Ray was born May 21, 1957 in Lubbock, Texas to parents Ferreal Ray Anthony and Janie Oletta (Hood) Anthony.  He worked at Lankford’s Countryside Feed Store in Brady for several years.

Survivors:

Daughters – Jennifer Benavides and husband Angel of Lubbock;  Janie Thomason and husband Nathan of Slayton, Texas.

Brother – Gary Anthony of Lubbock.

Sister – Moretta Blair and husband Roger of Seattle, Washington.

Grandchildren – Rebecca Benavides, Destinee Benavides, Samantha Ariaz and Kevin Dorman.

Great-Grandchildren – Nevaeh, Dhevani and Leland
