The following calls were responded to by the Brown County Sheriff’s Department between October 2 and October 5.
On Friday, October 2, at approximately 13:03, Deputy Scotty Burke was dispatched to County Road 493 in May. This was in reference to a Violation of a Protective
Order report and investigation.
On October 2, Deputy Mason Fabbiani was dispatched to Lake Shore Drive in May in regards to a road rage incident possibly involving a firearm. Both parties were contacted and a report has been made. It was undetermined if a firearm was involved at this time.
On October 3, Deputy Joe Thomas was patrolling in the area of the 2800 block of CR 411. Deputy Thomas found a handgun lying in the roadway. A report was made.
On October 4, Deputy Joe Thomas was dispatched to the area of the 1500 block of Lincoln Road. This was in reference to a burglary. The complainant advised he
located property from his vehicle inside another vehicle at the scene. After further investigation, a man was placed under arrest for Burglary of a Motor Vehicle. A
report was made.
On October 4, Deputy Toby Mathis took a report of a Burglary of a Building on Monsey Street in May. A woman reported her shed, behind her residence, had items
missing from it. Information was gathered and a report was made.
On October 4, Deputy Joe Thomas was dispatched to Turner Drive in Brownwood for a dog bite. Dispatch received information from Lifeguard EMS a female had been bitten
by her neighbors’ dog. A report was made.
On October 4, Deputy Toby Mathis responded to a report of a female walking on FM 2525, being followed by a male in a truck. Caller advised the two appeared to be
arguing. A female was placed in custody for Public Intoxication and a report was made.
On October 5, a report for a public nuisance at CR 278 in Zephyr was made.
On October 5, Deputy Toby Mathis spoke with a woman in regards to theft of property. Information was gathered and a report was made.
