On September 1, 2020, the Brownwood/Brown County Health Department received 5 positive COVID-19 test results, 7 negatives, and 3 recoveries. Of the 5 positives, 3 were PCR, and 2 were antigen. There is currently 8 hospitalized in Brown County and 116 active cases.
