Several county fire department units responded to a structure fire in Blanket shortly before 10:00 am Tuesday morning.  Located on Avenue H, not far east of the school, a house appeared to have sustained heavy damage.  Most fire units had left the scene by 11:30 am with one to monitor.  The cause was unknown as of this morning.
