On August 18, 2020, the Brownwood/Brown County Health Department received 9 positive COVID-19 test results, 62 negatives, and 14 recoveries. Of the 12 positives, 8 were PCR, and 1 was antigen.

Results include testing from a local assisted living facility – 8 positive residence, none hospitalized, 2 positive employees (previously reported).
