On Monday, August 17, 2020, the Brownwood/Brown County Health Department received 12 positive COVID-19 test results, 9 negatives, and 16 recoveries. Of the 12 positives, 11 were PCR, and 1 was antigen.

There are currently 107 active cases with 2 in the hospital.
