Welton Ray Watson Sr. passed from this life on Tuesday, August 11, 2020 at 1:30 pm at his residence at the age of 70 years.

Services will be Sunday at 2:00 pm at Coleman City Cemetery Pavilion with Chaplain Don Armstrong officiating.  Interment will follow with services under the direction of Henderson Funeral Home of Coleman.

The family will receive friends for visitation Saturday from 6:00 till 8:00 pm at Henderson Funeral Home

A lifelong resident of Coleman County, Ray was born in Seminole, Texas on January 4, 1950 to Rush Ray and Mary Juanita Stanford Watson.  Ray was raised in Coleman County attending the Novice ISD.  He was a mechanic by trade and a good and kind man.

Glenda Campbell of Bangs, Texas

2 Brothers – Randall & wife Mary Watson of Coleman, Texas

Stanley Watson of Tye, Texas

Ray was preceded in death by his daughter – Juanita Jean Jarvis in 2017
