The following calls were answered by deputies of the Brown County Sheriff’s Department.
On Friday, July 24, at about 09:16 hours, Deputy Byron Langley arrived at the Brown County Law Enforcement Center. This was in regards to trespassing. He spoke to a man who stated he needed to file a Criminal Trespass Warning on his daughter and her boyfriend, for his residence.
On Friday, July 24, Lt. Pete Bastardo was dispatched to the 3300 block of Portside in regards to a grass fire. It was later discovered that a man had illegally hooked up to electricity. A report was taken for criminal mischief.
On July 24, Deputy Toby Mathis spoke with a woman about threats made to her husband by another man. She believed the man would follow through with the threats. A report was made.
On Sunday, July 26, at approximately 13:42, Deputy Scotty Burke was dispatched to Belfast Drive in Brownwood in reference to a burglary of a building report and investigation.
On July 26, at 14:51 hours, Corporal Jayson Bastardo was dispatched to the Law Enforcement Center. This was in regards to an Unauthorized Use of a Motor Vehicle. He spoke with a man who advised he had let his nephew use his pickup. The complainant said he requested the vehicle back from the nephew who had not returned the vehicle. A report was taken.
